DR. JOHN MEISSNER

Associate

Dr. John Meissner is a psychologist at Carleton University who started and developed the FITA program to improve students’ quality of life and accessibility to mental health services.  Over the years he has worked with youth in Children's Mental Health Clinics, with School Boards, and with emerging adults in Post-Secondary Institutions to provide real-world solutions to address difficult problems. His emphasis is on transparency and openness along with a focus on helpful assessment to inform and empower clients.  Dr. Meissner believes that program development based on real-life data and evaluation provides solutions that result in important connections that improve lives.

DAVID BERMAN

Associate

"David Berman, FGDC, RGD, CPACC  helps organizations get great things done, through the motivation and techniques he provides for applying strategy, design, ethics, and creative branding and communications to business problems. He has over 30 years of experience in inclusive design and strategic communications. As an internationally-acclaimed expert speaker, communications strategist, graphic designer, typographer, and ethics chair, his thought-provoking keynotes and workshops have brought him to over 50 countries. David is also an Invited Expert to the W3C, the publishers of the WCAG standard for e-accessibility

BOB BROWN

Associate

Bob Brown is a committed activist in accessibility, transportation issues, and human rights for people with disabilities. His extensive government career encompasses roles in foreign affairs, procurement, research and development, licensing, and accessible transportation. Mr. Brown has held leadership positions and chaired disability organizations at municipal, provincial, and federal levels. He has also served on various boards, agencies, and commissions across all levels of government.
